Color Club Halo Hues Halo-graphic, Angel Kiss, Harp On It, and Blue Heaven

Happy Tuesday!  I hope you're planning on voting today and making good decisions.  I know I've got to read up some more on the propositions in California before going in to vote, but I know my priority for voting this year is to make sure that education gets more funding.  Education shapes the future of our kids, which in turn will determine how well our country will perform economically.  Other countries focus a lot of resources on their children's education and they are quickly surpassing our country's financial position in the world.

I managed to score some of the Color Club Halo Hues during the last transdesign restock and I've swatched them here for your review.  I was really impressed with how strong the holo effect was on all of these colors, an accomplishment that is long overdue for Color Club.  By now most brands have released strong effect holos except for Color Club and fortunately Color Club wisened up and released some just in time for the holidays.  I found the application for all of these to be impeccable - they were all highly pigmented and I didn't get any balding that is typical for holos.  I could have probably gotten away with one medium coat layer of polish for all, but I did two for good measure.  In fact, I bet they would be great to stamp with.  In these pictures, all the Halo Hues were layered over The Makeup Store Aqua Fix with no top coat.

First is Angel Kiss, a teal blue holo.

Next is Halo-graphic, a pink holo:

The 3rd is Harp On It, a standard silver holo:

And finally, Blue Heaven.  I found this to be similar to Angel Kiss but less teal.   Actually, it's less blue in general, and translates onto the nail as more silver than blue.   If you were hoping for something like OPI DS Glamour, these unfortunately are not it.

In general, the holos on these were all great, but the color differences were minimal.  I think you can probably get away with Halo-graphic and one of the other three that I swatched without really missing anything.  I think holo wise, these probably compare to Layla, Nfu-Oh, or The Make-up Store holos fairly equally.

So what do you think, are these going to make it into your collection if you've already got holos from another brand?
