I hope you're having a great start to your weekend! To start off mine, I caved and ordered some pizza, topped with pepperoni and pineapple, which is my take on a Hawaiian pizza. I know it's not the healthiest, especially when I'm trying to lose baby weight, but it was good, darn it. I compensated and had a side salad of kale. That negates some calories, doesn't it?
I have another layered mani for you, and my base color is Butter London's Stag Do, a 2012 Fall release that was originally a Nordstrom exclusive but now available on BL's website. This is a dark teal creme with hidden green shimmer, and when I say hidden, I mean hidden! The shimmer is really apparent in the bottle but doesn't really translate onto the nail. It's incredibly subtle to the point of being non existent. Regardless, the dark teal is gorgeous and the application was incredibly smooth. I used two coats in these pics with a layer of Poshe.

I got another package of nail mail today and was happy to receive my order of Twenty Seven Polish. I'd been looking for a fun matte glitter and found this line of indie polishes on Etsy one day. I took the plunge when I read about a discount code she had, not to mention her super reasonable shipping costs. This clear glitter topper is aptly named Pride, and contains all the colors of the pride flag - all matte glitters of square gold and red mixed with hex shaped green, blue, orange, and purple. It's a super fun polish and can be worn over a multitude of colors. I chose Stag Do simply because that's the color I already had on when opened up her package. I found one coat was plenty because the it was really dense with glitter, almost too dense as you can see on my pinky. I quickly figured out to lighten up my brush by the time I got to my index finger. I used one layer of Poshe to smooth out the glitter.

This being my first experience with Twenty Seven Polishes, I was pretty happy with Pride and can see myself purchasing more of her creations in the future. If you're interested in checking out this line, you can use the code 27WIN for 20% off all orders on Etsy until the end of the year.
I'm loving the matte glitters. Which is your favorite?
