Hare Polish Monster Swatch and Review

I ran into a client today while at the post office.  He'd ask where've I've been and I said that I had a baby in August.  He had no idea - I did a good job of camouflaging my belly during my pregnancy by wearing loose flowy shirts and leggings.  Good thing I did because that's pretty much what I've been wearing now.  I'm sadly counting down my days until I go back to work which is unfortunately 1 month from now.  He told me to milk it for what it's worth and that's exactly what I plan to do.  Thank goodness I live in California - it is one of three states in the country that pays disability and family leave from the date you leave work until 12 weeks after the birth.

Today I have another Hare Polish called The Monster.  This one was highly coveted during the restocks and I never managed to score one until Hare restocked on Etsy recently.  From what I've heard, however, the formulation from the Etsy bottles are different from the Llarowe bottles.  I don't have one to compare but if anyone can figure it out, I'd be happy to know the difference!  The bottle I received is the mint green crelly base with black and green glitter.  It's a simple formulation to be honest, and I think the popularity had to do more with the color than anything else.  It took four layers to get complete opacity and the formula was not thick at all.  I found it easy to work with overall, and it didn't dry gritty.  I added a layer of Poshe to speed up the drying and add some shine.

Don't get me wrong, I love this color and I'm just surprised how something so simple can be so pretty.  I love combinations like this, and I'm glad she didn't go overboard with adding more glitters like some other indie polishes I've seen.  Do you know of any other indies that have a controlled touch when it comes to glitter polishes?
