New Indie: Chirality Cu2+, Kale, and Katydid Holos Swatch and Review

Happy Saturday!  I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.  I had a delicious bowl of pork ramen from Ajisen earlier today and followed it with a boba milk tea.  Needless to say, I'm one stuffed happy camper.

Today I have swatches of a new indie that I stumbled across, called Chirality.  I was drawn to her polishes because she had unusual shades of linear holos.  Generally I always see pastel holos like pink, silver, light blue, etc which quickly become monotonous but fortunately Chiralty has some darker shades.  I ordered three to try and I have swatches for you to see.  Hopefully you'll love them as much as I do!  I used Makeup Store Aqua Fix basecoat and no topcoat for all of these swatches.  Pardon the lighting in some of these pics, I got a new photobox and I'm trying to adjust the lighting, and not to mention holos are always impossible to capture accurately.

Chirality Kale, Katydid, and Cu2+

First is Kale, a dark green that is the same color as its namesake.  This was has a gorgeous linear holo and is unlike any other polish I've seen.  A England St George may be the closest, but this made in the US and much cheaper.  The application was flawless and one coat would have been enough but alas I did two as is my habit.

My 2nd Chirality polish is a lighter shade of green called Katydid.  I love the name of this one because it brings to mind a spring leaf green shade, which is exactly what this color is.  The holo wasn't as strong as Kale, but it's a gorgeous green nonetheless.  I can't think of another holo similar in shade either.  Katydid has the same great application as Kale too.

Lastly is my favorite of the three, Cu2+, a rich pigmented dark teal blue.  Blue is the color of the molecule Cu2+, at least that's what I was able to look up.  In any case, I adore the shade of this polish!!  I can't remotely think of another similar holo for this one either.  Glitter Gals Lizard Belly might be close but it's definitely greener.  Again, this had flawless application with fast drying time, and one coat probably could have been enough.  I had a hard time capturing the true color of this - my camera kept wanting to make it look more grey-blue than it really is.

So what do you think so far of these colors?  I definitely think these are a worthy buy, especially at $7.50 a pop, a bargain for any holo.
