Ethereal Lacquer Gossamer Over China Glaze Queen B Swatch And Review

Hello dears!  How is your week going so far?  It's nearly over, and today I'm looking forward to a short day and then spending time with LO.  I'm suppose to be going to dinner with some coworkers, but I'm not sure if that's solid yet.  I'm always happy to go out and try a new restaurant!

I'm excited to try another fall release from China Glaze, and that's a deep blue cream with purple undertones(blurple?).  I wasn't disappointed - the formula was excellent.  It applied smoothly and fluidly with no streaking.  In fact, I only used one coat in these photos with no topcoat!

Next, I used a couple layers of Ethereal Lacquer Gossamer, a glitter topcoat comprised of iridescent hex, square glitters and microglitter.  There was a perfect amount of glitter in each brushstroke, and I didn't have any clumping or stacking of glitters.  I love how it adds a bit of whimsy to Queen B.  I finished with a layer of NYC GCS.

I love how the two polishes enhance each other.  Gossamer is one of those topcoats that would probably look amazing over any shade of cream or even shimmer.  It's a quick way of adding a little extra eye candy to any mani.  Queen B is amazing on its own as well because it took only one coat and I was ready to go out the door with no streaking or patchiness.  This mani was a total win all around.
