Tonight I have the second half of The Dregs Collection released last week by Tough As Nails. These are both unique to the Tough As Nails releases because these are the first cremes put out by the creator, up until now she's been putting out glitter topcoats and glitter polishes.
The first one is called The Redundant Woman, a lovely cornflower blue shade with pink shimmer. I found the formula to be thicker than I like, the first coat went on streaky and then the second coat didn't level out enough so there's some unevenness to my layers. I used a topcoat to even it all out but you can still see some patchiness in places. The pink shimmer is evident in most lights and doesn't become hidden, unfortunately it was difficult to capture on camera but hopefully you can see some of it.
The second creme by Tough As Nails is called East End Girl, a beautiful teal creme with teal microglitter that works like a shimmer. This polish was a complete win - the formula went on like butter and there was no streaking or patchiness, and the polish was able to self level on its own. I used two coats for this mani for opacity, but the camera picks up some VNL. I finished with a topcoat for shine because it needed a little boost.
Overall I was really impressed by these homemade cremes by Tough As Nails. There's a little room for improvement when it comes to The Redundant Woman but she more than makes up for it with East End Girl. I love the colors too, they seem perfect for spring and I can't wait to wear them out. You can get these over at Tough As Nails Etsy shop along with the glitters that part of The Dregs Collection that I swatched yesterday.
