It's December and holiday shopping is in full swing! I hope everyone has their shopping lists ready because the holidays will be upon us faster than a blink of an eye. I still have to figure out what I'm getting for everyone - I love shopping but I hate trying to figure out what someone will like. It's usually a fail for me. What is everyone getting their loved ones this season? Maybe you can help give me some ideas!
Today I'm happy to try a polish that I see often posted but never thought of owning until recently, and that polish is China Glaze's For Audry, a lovely Tiffany blue cream. I never use to wear blues and now I find that I'm enjoying them more and more. I had no trouble with the application, and this is two coats on its own.

To make this a season appropriate mani, I decided to top it off with Elevation Polish Froze to Death. This is my first time using this brand and I can't say I was impressed. I did enjoy the lovely mix of matte white and iridescent glitters in a clear base, but I found the formula to be unusually thick and difficult to work with. The glitters kept wanting to clump together, especially towards the tip of the nail where I ended my brush stroke. Some of the bars wouldn't dry flat either, so a layer of Poshe would be needed to smooth them down. I would probably use a lot of thinner next time I want to use this polish again.

Despite my problems with Froze to Death, I'm willing to give this brand another try, especially since it seems the shimmer polishes are the star of the collection. Aside from that, I'm disappointed in not having a lot of success with the gorgeous combination of glitters. Do you have any recommendations for other polishes that may have a similar mix of glitters?
