What?? A post in the middle of the day? What is going on you say? Last night I fell asleep while putting LO to bed, and now I'm making up for it. She's napping upstairs so I have a quick few minutes to put a post up. The in-laws have left for the summer, so it's back to me and DH juggling LO and our schedules to make sure one of us can take care of her. I was hoping to have a babysitter lined up by now, but the one we chose backed out on us. I hope we find someone soon, it's hard to leave a baby in a strangers hands.
69 cents make you holla! I have another Wet n Wild Pop Art Craze polish for you today, and that's Teal Slowly See, an opaque sky blue cream. I used two coats in these pictures and had some streaking that you can see if you look closely enough. I would have used three if I was wearing this color alone, but since I was planning on layering it, I didn't bother. As with the other Wet n Wild Wildshine brushes, it was thick and drippy which made it difficult to get clean strokes. No topcoat so you can see it's natural shine.

Next, I layered over Pahlish Dance Across The Sea, a milky sea blue based glitter with lots of iridescent flakes and blue and iridescent hex glitter. It was sheer, and I used one coat over Teal Slowly See. The glitters flowed evenly off the brush and was a dream to apply. There's a layer of topcoat here to add shine.

How dreamy is that? It looks likes bubbles in the water to me, and while I was wearing it, I was aching to paint a little fish on one of the nails. Sadly I didn't have any downtime to add the nail art, but it's definitely on my list of things to try. It's been hard to keep up with the nail art these days with LO moving around the house so quickly. Hopefully things will calm down and I'll get back into it one day!
