Zoya Rica Swatch And Review

Today we're on our way to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with my mother to visit my home town of Lancaster.  We're taking a read eye, so by the time this is posted, I'll be on the plane hoping that LO doesn't fuss.  I know in the morning, I'll be exhausted and will probably pass out for a few hours before running around trying to catch up with old friends and showing off LO.

The perfect mani to start this trip is Zoya Rica, an orange leaning coral foil with gold flakes.  It's from the Zoya 2011 summer release called the Sunshine collection.  I saw this on a friend's blog recently(thanks Liz!) and kicked myself for not trying this beauty earlier.  I really love the shade of coral and the gold flakes add a wonderful bling factor that is perfect in the summer sunshine.  I used two easy coats and followed with a layer of Poshe.

I really thought I would like Zoya Tinsley more than Rica when I initially made my purchase, but when I swatched Tinsley, the rose gold didn't work with my skin tone at all.  This however, was the perfect color of coral that makes my skin tone look tanner than it really is.  Gotta love that!  Have you ever encountered a polish that you thought you'd hate but ended up really loving instead?
