China Glaze Breakin' Swatch And Review and Bonus Gradient with Sinful My Buoyfriend

Today was a crazy hectic Monday, and I'm hoping the rest of the work week won't be nuts.  I have a feeling it will be because of the holiday, but luckily I have Wednesday off along with Thursday.  Do you have any fun plans for the holiday?

One of the China Glaze oldies that I picked up the other day was China Glaze Breakin', a bright orange with silver shimmer.  I was drawn to it mostly because of the muted shade of orange, but also because I like the name Breakin.  In my younger days(which wasn't that long ago) I use to hang out with the bboys circles here in LA, not because I danced, but because DH did.  Often times when you see a bboy on TV, it's probably someone we knew.  The formula of this wasn't the greatest - it was streaky and took three coats to even out.  The shimmer doesn't translate that well on the nail either.  I finished with a layer of Poshe.

It didn't really pop against my skintone, in fact it seemed to wash it out so I decided to add some blue to brighten it up.  I sponged Sinful Colors My Buoyfriend along the tips.

I like how the two colors contrast against each other, but it needs a little something else, maybe some glitter but I'm running out of time tonight, and as they say, ain't nobody got time for that!

  1. Wow, really cool!
I think some studs would look great with that :-)
We were at the Baltic Sea at our holidays but unfortunately the weather wasn't great.
Do you have some fun plans for holiday?
