Barielle Fall 2013 Sophisticated Lady Swatch And Review

Today I have for you Barielle's latest collection released for fall 2013 called Sophisticated Lady.  The five colors of this collection are the epitome of what to expect this fall for a modern and fashion forward woman.  This collection is comprised mostly of creams and one shimmer.

Starting with the most neutral color of this collection, this is In Good Taste, a taupe that leans brown and reminds me of luscious milk chocolate.  I used three thin coats for opacity because I had some slight patchiness for the first two coats.  This is finished with a layer of topcoat.

There's a wonderfully feminine pink cream with a slight silver shimmer that is included with this collection, called London High Tea.  Although pink is not generally a considered a fall color, it works really well with the other shades of this collection.  I used two coats here and finished with topcoat.

Next I have Dinner At 8, a gorgeous blue leaning red cream that was nearly a one coater, but here I used two for extra pigmentation for the camera.  This may be my new favorite red!  It's easy to use with its fabulous formula and self levels beautifully.

Moving onto the vampier colors of this collection, I have for you a dark eggplant cream called Edgy.  This too had a fantastic and easy to use formula, and nearly a one coater.  I used two here with a layer of topcoat.

And finally I have a lovely dusty prussian blue cream called Tres Chic.  Two coats here finished with topcoat.

With the ease of application and reliable smooth formula, Barielle reaffirms itself as one of my go to brands whenever I need a no fuss polish.  The fall colors are all lovely and easily incorporated into this season's style forecast.  I think my favorites of are London High Tea with its pretty shimmer, and Dinner At 8 with its easy to apply and pigmented formula.
