I'm back! Today's challenge was another novelty to me, galaxy nails. I've seen these quite often over the years and I'm always blown away how intricate and beautiful they are. I've seen tutorials and read explanations and they all make it sound so easy, but when it came down to me actually doing it, I found it to be a difficult. I started with a base of Wet n Wild black cream, and then preceded to layer colors over it with a tiny sponge. I started with the darkest purple and blue that I had, and then gradually worked my way up to the lightest color, which was white. Thinking about it now, I maybe should have layers some color over the white before doing the little stars. Oh well. I finished it with a layer of topcoat.

This is a nail fail for me, but don't despair, I will definitely revisit this challenge sometime and practice this technique again. In the meantime, I'm excited to see the tiny little galaxies that the other ladies have created for today!
I don't think they're bad for your first attempt. It was mine as well, but I started with the lightest color and worked my way out to darker ones, which I think was helpful. I love the purple you used!
