Happy Friday! I hope you managed to get the day off like I know a lot of other people did, so that you may enjoy a four day weekend. Looks like it'll be perfect grilling weather too. I hope you have some great plans in store for your weeknd!
I was curious about the new China Glaze jellies that were released this summer so I picked up one when I was at my nail supply haunt. This is a sheer teal jelly called Keepin It Teal. I found the formula to be really watery and recommend using really thin coats. I used four layers for this mani and although it wasn't really streaky, the sheerness makes it look like it is. I finished with a layer of Poshe for additional shine.
I can see this being used for glitter sammiches but not so much on its own because the color isn't very unique and the VNL doesn't appeal to me in this color, which is strange since I usually don't mind VNL. This color also reminds me of another jelly called Pacific Beach by American Apparel. Price point wise, AA is slightly more but it might be worth it if the application is easier.
